One of the requirements of Rotary World Peace Fellows is that they undertake AFE (Applied Field Experience) for three months during the summer of their time at Bradford University. They return in September to write up their dissertations, and their experiences during AFE are very likely to provide material.
To give a 'flavour':
Zelie (with Aiden, of course) is in Cambodia helping to listen to testimonies from people affected by the Khmer Rouge atrocities
Goranka is with the Balkans Peace Park Project
Mable is looking at the link between Housing, Poverty Eradication and Reconciliation through neighbourhood revitalization, in Georgia, United States of AmericaTheir experiences during AFE are also something which we look forward to learning about at the Peace Seminar, held each Autumn.
While they are away, we have opened bookings for the 2010 Seminar, to be held on Saturday, 30th October and preceded by a 'Meet The Fellows' Dinner on the evening before. Both Class VIII and the (by then) recently arrived Class IX will be attending the Dinner and the Seminar, and there will be opportunities to meet and talk to them.

This website should be constantly growing and improving - but it needs your input to be able to do so. Fellows, Host Counsellors and others with interesting news or photos are all invited to submit them using the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of this page. Naturally, we must reserve the right to exercise editorial control and so do not promise that everything will be published - but if it is interesting, informative and honest, the chances are that it will be!
