Sponsored by: The Rotary Club of Menlo Park, District 5150, Califonia, United States

Country of Citizenship: USA

Language proficiency: English, French, Spanish and Fulfulde (conversational)

Undergraduate degree: BA International Studies and French Literature - Sewanee: The University of the South

Areas of interest: Grassroots community development; sustainable development; microfinance; human rights; conflict prevention and peace building

Background: During my undergraduate studies, I studied abroad in Cameroon where I explored the field of international development.

After graduation, I founded the non-profit, Breaking Ground, which enables Cameroonians to complete locally-initiated, sustainable projects. My experiences in Cameroon coupled with my work in the non-profit sector encouraged me to continue in the field of peace studies and conflict prevention.

What do you plan to do with your RWPF:  I look forward to expanding my skills in mediation and conflict prevention. I will adapt the skills I learn at Braford and apply the Rotary mission to the work I do in the field of international development.

Several of the past and present Peace Fellows keep blogs. We will put links to any that we know about, on Fellows' individual web pages. Please let us know of any we have missed. Thank you.
