Areas of interest : The role of improved access to health care and basic health services in peace-building and stabilization efforts in conflict and post-conflict zones.

Background : Courtney has been working in international development and global health for more than 10 years. She has worked with leading agencies and donors, such as the Global Fund, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the US Agency for International Development (USAID). She has focused her efforts on HIV/AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis in China and Africa, but has more recently focused her work on development in conflict and post-conflict regions, especially Afghanistan and Pakistan.

What do you plan to do with your RWPF : Pursue a career in international development and peace and conflict studies, working with national and multinational partners and institutions.
