Background

Originally from Montréal, Canada, I am in Bradford to pursue an MA in ConflictResolution. I graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor’s in Commerceand a minor in International Development Studies.  I have been activein social justice causes, especially those relating to people livingwith HIV/AIDS, survivors of sexual assault and multiculturalism inCanada. Following my studies, I worked in non-profit management andpursued a certificate in violence and social intervention. I thenworked for the Quaker United Nations Office in New York mostly focusingon the Peacebuilding Commission and its support of Burundi, but alsolooking at the UN response to the conflict in the Democratic Republicof Congo, as well as small arms and light weapons issues.  While at Bradford University, I am interested in deepening my knowledge of nonviolent conflict resolution and post-conflict reconstruction.
